The installation of Mr. Post (hereafter “the product”) is viewed as users’ consent to authorizing the product to access certain information belonging to users. Details of accessed information are described on this page.
The product needs to access information belonging to users in order to complete a security scan. Information needed includes:
- Email address of current user.
- Header information of emails, including sender, recipients and email transmission information.
- Body of email, including attachments if any.
Specifically, URLs inside email bodies will be evaluated by Trend Micro Web Reputation Services and Google Safe Browsing service for scoring.
Information will be obtained when scanning begins and destroyed immediately once scanning is completed.
For users who do not want their information to be accessed, please go to Uninstallation section and follow the instructions to remove the product.
